HOW RESOLUTE ARE YOU?
Memorise:
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith,
God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:6
Read: 2 Kings 2:19-22
19 And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the
situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught,
and the ground barren.
20 And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt
therein. And they brought it to him.
21 And he went forth unto the spring of
the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have
healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren
land.
22 So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of
Elisha which he spake.
Message
I start each year wit
h New Year resolutions. In a particular year, I decided
on what I intended to do more intensely that year. I decided to seek God and
praise Him like never before, to open my mouth and tell God how things are with
me, to humble myself like never before, to give cheerfully, to trust man less,
trust God more and finally, to walk more closely with God like never before. I
was pleasantly surprised at the end of the year that every decision I made was
fulfilled. How resolute are you? Make a resolution and be prepared to follow
through with your resolution. In addition, you should be prepared to make
changes. Are you resistant to change? There are two groups of people in an ideal
church congregation. These are: the Old Brigade and the New Combatants. The Old
Brigades are those used to the old system of doing things and are not ready to
change. To experience good success on a daily basis, you must be prepared for
change. Be prepared to do things in a new way, if that is what will enhance the
growth of your church or organisation. The New Combatants are young and well
equipped with new systems for doing things. This group of young radicals should
also be prepared for change. Be prepared to learn from the experiences of the
Old Brigade. Both the Old Brigade and the New Combatants should learn from the
Law of Inertia. It states thus: “A body maintains its state of rest or uniform
growth unless acted upon by an external force”. Be prepared to run with the
vision of Christ for your life and be diligent in your business. Proverbs 22:29
says,
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before
kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
Success is the product of getting and utilising new ideas, concepts and
perceptions profitably. Success is realising God’s desires for you and
responding obediently to them in order to reach your maximum potential. This
will please Him and bring benefits to others. An integral part of obtaining good
success is management and planning. To achieve excellence and good success, you
must prayerfully plan for it and continuously manage it. Be hard working and be
prepared to possess your possession in the area of prayers (James 5:16-18).
Prayer Point:
Father, please help me to be a doer and not
a mere hearer of your word. I have decided to obey your words. Please help my
decision.
"A Message from "faithdrivetoeternityblog"
"At the beginning of a new year most people decide to have resolutions
, with the intention of accomplishing them, forgetting that without
self determination and the grace of God it cannot be possible. However
as a child of God your resolution must align with the word of God.
Once God the father is backing you up then the Holy spirit of God
will help you."
Prayer-: Lord please grant me the grace to focus on the right path.Amen.
3 REASONS WHY YOU MUST NEED JESUS
Jesus loves you! he desires to have a relationship with you,and to give you a life full of joy and purpose.

you cant go back, but he can.The Bible says,"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever"
(Hebrews 13:8). He can walk into those places of sin and failure, wipe the state clean and give you a new beginning.
2. Because you need a friend.
Jesus knows the worst about you, yet he believes the best. why? Because he sees you not as you are, but as you
will be when he gets through with you. what a friend?

Who else are you going to trust? in his hands you are safe and secure today,
tomorrow, and for eternity. his word says," for i know the plans i have for you...plans for good
and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. in those days when you pray i will listen"
(Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB)
If you'd like to begin a personal relationship with Jesus today, please pray
this prayer.
"Lord Jesus, I invite you into my life,I believe you died for me,and that your blood
pays for my sins and provides me with the gift of eternal life, by faith i receive
that gift and i acknowledge you as my Lord and Saviour Amen".
Dear Lord Jesus, i give my life to you as my Lord and Saviour
